Undyed Coated Vicryl 0 Ct-1 Taper 36" Suture is a sterile, absorbable braided suture composed of polyglactin 910. Designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, it is commonly utilized in various surgical fields including ophthalmic procedures. The undyed coating ensures minimal tissue discoloration while providing enhanced handling characteristics. 

The Ct-1 taper needle is crafted for precise tissue penetration with minimal trauma, facilitating ease of knot tying and excellent knot security on the first throw. The 36-inch length provides sufficient material for extended procedures and multiple tissue closures without the need for replacement. 

Tensile strength retention is approximately 50% at three weeks post-implantation, supporting tissue during critical phases of wound healing. Complete mass absorption occurs within 56 to 76 days through hydrolytic degradation, eliminating the need for suture removal and reducing the risk of long-term foreign body reaction.
